On Tuesday, 4 August, the College community gathered for the Semester 2 High Achievers’ Breakfast, an event dedicated to recognising students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement across all subjects in the previous semester. Held twice a year, these breakfasts are a proud tradition at John XXIII College, celebrating not only academic excellence but also the values of commitment, curiosity, community and connection that underpin our learning environment.

Students and staff came together on Thursday, 30 July, to celebrate Loyola House Day, a day of honouring the life of St Ignatius of Loyola, one of John XXIII College’s founding inspirations.

The Year 11 Dinner Dance was a true highlight of the term, bringing students together for an evening of celebration, connection and fun at Beaumonde on the Point. The event gave our Year 11s the chance to step away from their studies and enjoy a memorable night with friends and staff in a beautiful riverside setting.

John XXIII College is pleased to support the Perth Community Refugee Support Group's Movie Night for a Reason, a fundraising screening of the award-winning film Limbo.

From Term 3, John XXIII College will have an online Uniform Shop using My School Connect, in addition to our on-campus store. Parents will be able to order uniforms from their phone or computer, with the option to purchase in-store still available.

John XXIII College Year 10 Outdoor Education students took on four days of camping, hiking and vertical challenge activities in the Margaret River region, putting leadership skills and personal resilience to the test in one of Western Australia's most striking natural environments.

Some lessons can only be learned outside four walls. Last week, our Year 9 students travelled to the bush at Collie for two days of challenge, teamwork and discovery.
