This term, John XXIII College is introducing two changes designed to make life a little easier for parents: an online Uniform Shop, and a single login for our digital platforms.
From Wednesday, 22 July, families will be able to shop for uniforms online through My School Connect, alongside our existing on-campus store. Whether you're ordering a full new uniform or replacing a lost jumper, you'll be able to do it from your phone or computer, at a time that suits you, with the option to visit in-store still there for anyone who prefers it.
Even if you plan to keep shopping on campus, we'd encourage you to set up your My School Connect account now. Once it's linked to your child's profile, it keeps a running record of their sizes and past purchases, making future ordering and exchanges much simpler.
Alongside online ordering, My School Connect also supports cashless payment, and families can top up their child's SmartRider card through the platform for in-store purchases.
One login, less hassle
To support this rollout, the College has also introduced Parent ID Passport (PIPs), a single sign-on system that will, over time, give parents one secure login across our various digital platforms. My School Connect is the first system to trial this.
Rather than remembering a separate username and password for each College platform, PIPs lets you sign in with an account you already use: Google, Microsoft, Apple, or your everyday email address. The one thing to check is that the email address you choose matches what the College has on file for you, this is what links your PIPs login to your family's records.
Cashless John XXIII Day
This new system will also come into play for John XXIII Day on Friday, 7 August, one of the highlights of our College calendar. This year, the House stalls and activities, which raise funds for our partners Jesuit Mission Australia and Mary Ward International, will move to cashless purchases. Parents can transfer funds onto their child's SmartRider via My School Connect ahead of the day, and Primary families will be able to purchase a $5 or $10 card for their child to use.
We appreciate your support as we roll out these changes, all aimed at making everyday College life a little smoother for our families.
