CURRICULUM AREAS AT JOHN XXIII COLLEGE

A rich and integrated program from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12

Our curriculum is designed to support the academic, social, emotional, spiritual and physical development of every student. It is structured to provide both rigour and breadth, ensuring students build strong foundations while pursuing areas of genuine interest and talent.
  • Core curriculum areas form the backbone of student learning and include Religious Education, English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Health and Physical Education.
  • Specialist and elective subjects enable students to explore and develop their individual interests across The Arts (Visual Arts, Music, Drama and Media), Languages (Italian and Japanese), Technologies (Digital Technologies, Design and Technology, Food Technologies, and Engineering), and Outdoor Education.
  • Inclusive and enrichment programs ensure every learner is appropriately challenged and supported. These include our Gifted and Talented Primary and Secondary programs, Literacy and Numeracy support and extension, and Mary Ward specialist support.

From Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12, students are encouraged to discover their strengths, pursue their passions and develop the knowledge, skills and faith needed to engage meaningfully with the world.
