A practical expression of our Ignatian values and community spirit.
Connecting with other families, supporting students and staff, and contributing to College life, volunteering is deeply rewarding. It is also an opportunity to model the values of service, generosity, and kindness for our young people – demonstrating in action what it means to be people for others.
Our volunteers are central to many of our events, programs, and support networks. Their efforts are seen, appreciated, and celebrated as an integral part of what makes John XXIII College the community it is.
There are many ways to volunteer at John XXIII College, including:
Getting involved is straightforward. Reach out to your PAL year group coordinator, the Parents' Association, or College reception – we welcome enquiries at any time and will help connect you with the right opportunity.
The College newsletter and calendar are also excellent sources for upcoming volunteer calls and events. Some roles may require a Working with Children Check or other clearances; full details are provided when relevant.
Our volunteers are recognised at our annual volunteer thank-you event. We recognise that time is precious, and we strive to make volunteering flexible and enjoyable, with opportunities to suit a wide range of interests and availability.
Whether you contribute regularly or occasionally, your involvement makes an impact on our students, families, and staff at John XXIII College.
