John XXIII College cultivates a dynamic culture of learning and growth where our teachers are empowered, supported, and inspired to excel. Professional development provides pathways, such as the Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HALT) program, to elevate the skills, talents, and leadership capacity of our staff. Our educators engage in ongoing, evidence-informed professional learning and reflection that strengthens innovative practice, fosters critical and creative thinking, and enhances personalised support for every student. This commitment to professional excellence ensures that academic rigour is matched with cura personalis (care for the whole person) so that every learner is nurtured to thrive intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND HOLISTIC GROWTH
Academic performance is a central focus at John XXIII College, and our students consistently achieve outstanding results. The Class of 2025 demonstrated exceptional capability, with 52 students achieving an ATAR of 90 or above (top 10% statewide), 24 achieving 95 or above (top 5%), 11 achieving 98 or above (top 2%), and three reaching 99 or above (top 1%). We also celebrate achievement across vocational pathways, including 28 VET certificates and endorsed work placements, alongside 100% success in Curtin UniReady.
