Loreto alumnae reunite across the generations

Generations of Loreto alumnae gathered at the second Loreto All Years Reunion.

Representing classes spanning1950 to 1980, alumnae reconnected over morning tea. Loreto memorabilia were on display, including uniforms, photos, yearbooks, and keepsakes generously donated over the years. Loreto sisters Theresa Elliott, Maureen Burke and Francine Roberts also joined the celebrations.

Liz Prendergast (Class 1959) spoke about her recent experience at the 2026 Loreto Federation held at Loreto Kirribilli. Held every two years, Federation brings together alumnae from Loreto schools across Australia to exchange ideas and celebrate the friendships and common values that unite Loreto women across generations. This year’s theme was ‘UNITE with open minds’.

Our Loreto heritage remains a valued part of who we are at John XXIII College, and this weekend of connection and conversation was a lovely reminder that wherever life takes our alumnae, the Loreto spirit continues to bring people together.

Our Advancement Team is pleased to assist with organising Loreto reunions. Please contact Sue McLennan at alumni@johnxxiii.edu.au or 08 9383 0520.
