Religion

The Religious Education curriculum represents an explicit and genuine choice made by parents and students in enrolling at John XXIII College.

The curriculum for Years 7-10 is mandated by the WA Catholic Bishops. In Years 11 and 12 Religion and Life matches School Curriculum and Standards Authority syllabus requirements with demands of the Bishops Mandate.

Religious Education is taught by teaching specialists. It reflects the same systematic demands and rigour as all other Learning Areas, including time allocated for these classes.

In conjunction with this curriculum area, the "Faith and Justice" focus of the College offers a range of challenging and stimulating co-curricular activities which aims to integrate Faith experiences, the College Mission Statement and specific curriculum content.
