Primary - Year 2 Teacher

John XXIII College is a Catholic K-12 co-educational learning environment where children and young people are encouraged to be "people of competence, compassion, conscience, committed to God and the service of others."

John XXIII College requires a Primary Teacher (Year 2) to join the College on a full time temporary basis, to cover a staff member on maternity leave during Terms 2-4, 2014.

The ideal candidate will need to be supportive of the Ethos of a Catholic School.

Selection Criteria:

  • Be passionate and proactive professional
  • An understanding of the developmental needs of children
  • Possess effective communication skills
  • Possess competent knowledge of basic IT
  • The ability to show initiative, be flexible and to work independently.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Current registration with TRBWA
  • Current Police Check and
  • Working with Children Card.
