'Start the switch' June 23rd - 24th
The Australian Youth Climate Coalition came to Perth last weekend for Start the Switch. The AYCC's main objective is to inspire and educate our young students on the topic of climate change. Start the Switch summit played host to 14 schools from WA, with all schools having the same motivation to empower their students and be stimulated to make changes within their own communities.

This 2-day summit gave our students an opportunity to listen to inspiring speakers and take part in leadership training, workshops and team activities. They got to meet like-minded students to work together and join the movement for a sustainable future. Both AYCC and Empower WA recognise that climate change and sustainability are the most pressing issues of our time. Youth involvement is paramount in the transition to a sustainable future. With a passion for this mission, AYCC has grown to over 70,000 members in 4 years and is leading the way in inspiring and empowering the young people of Australia.
