ACC Boys Hockey

The John XXIII College boys performed exceptionally well at the ACC Hockey Carnival held at Perth Hockey Stadium on Thursday 28^th June. After finishing top of their pool they were matched against CBC in the semi-finals. The boys made a fantastic start and were 1-0 up after 5 minutes and dominated possession for the majority of the game. Unfortunately for us CBC managed to equalize late in the game to take it to extra time. After 5 minutes each way of extra time the scores remained deadlocked and it was time for penalty flicks. CBC managed to hold their nerve and won. It was a tremendous effort by the boys and a cruel way for the day to end.
