Around the Primary
Dear Parents,
It was wonderful to see so many parents at today's assembly. We were all entertained by the talented children from Year 2B.
Well done to all the students that received a certificate - we are very proud of your amazing achievements and efforts.
Yesterday we hosted the IPSHA Winter Carnival and our fantastic Year 5 and 6 students participated in a number of football, soccer, netball and hockey games throughout the day.
Special thanks to our Year 10 students who umpired various games, the Year 6 parents who organised the hospitality and to the Primary and Grounds staff for their assistance.
A big thank you to Mr Alderman for co-ordinating this successful event. Mr Alderman will be on long-service leave for Term 3 and is looking forward to his break from school routines. We wish John well on his exciting travels abroad. Mrs Menzies, an experienced Physical Education teacher will join us next term and has already had the opportunity to meet our terrific students.
We hope you enjoy looking at the extra photos (below) of special times around the Primary School this week.
Well done to all the Primary students who participated in the Eisteddfod on Monday. Our 'Most Outstanding Performance' students will now be performing this Sunday 29 June, at the Music Eisteddfod Winners' Concert, 5.30pm in the Gonzaga Barry Lecture Theatre.
