Philip Gwynne generously judged our Book Week Primary Poster Competition. The winners will be announced later this week. Philip Gwynne was back on campus on Thursday to work with more delighted students. It is always valuable for students to meet the authors of their favourite novels. Thursday lunchtime, again busy, saw Miss Woods back with her camera and green screen while Mrs Holmes and the primary students were creative with bookmarks. Bookmarks have been a consistent motive of Book Week, with Miss Woods working on creating bookmarks for students and staff using images of beloved family pets. There is a wonderful assortment of pets displayed on the bookmarks; from sheep, budgerigars, rabbits, lizards and cats, to the ever popular family hound. I expect this will become an annual task for us.
