'Start the Switch'
'Start the Switch' Summit is taking place this weekend at the Institute of Technology, Perth City. This summit is organized by the Australian Youth Climate Coalition. The AYCC is Australia's largest and fastest growing youth organization, with over 70,000 young people across Australia.
John XXIII College are very fortunate to have 7 Year 11 student representatives attend this event. The program will run over two incredible days of learning, empowerment networking, team building and celebration! The Summit will strengthen the relationships between students in each school group and equip them with knowledge and skills required to work together for a more Sustainable future.
John XXIII College sustainable student representatives are: Kieran Panizza, Jack D'Souza, Louis Re Matthews, Kade Ebling, Sophie Monisse, Christine Smallburger, and Caitlin Spencer. We look forward to their return to the College next week with lots of inspiring ideas for Sustainable change.
Sustainability competition
Don't forget to enter our Sustainability competition; can you create a masterpiece using only recycled materials? The competition is open to K - 12 years, Entries close June 29th.
There are great prizes up for grabs; you have to be in to win!
