John XXIII College Senior Netball

Round 6 is now completed, the first round after re grading. Many teams have now moved into new grades, we are hoping this will mean teams will now be more competitive. Just a reminder there are only two more rounds to go before school holidays are upon us.

TRAINING

We know the weather has not been very favorable to us lately! Please remember that netball is a winter sport, we play our games in the rain and WE WILL train in the rain. The only time training gets cancelled is due to storm/lightning.

SATURDAY'S RESULTS

Congratulations to Pearl on their very first win of the season. They had a very convincing win 35-19 against Perth College. Well done girls. After 6 rounds we have three teams who are currently undefeated: Tiger Eye, Zirconia and Onyx. Well done to these teams and their coaches. JTC Silver (Year 11) have now been moved up to Division 2, this is great for the team and the club as we haven't had a team in Division 2 for several years. The girls managed to win a very close game against Classics 39-35.

We would like to congratulate one of our umpires, Hannah Cadlolo on being selected in the 15's State Schoolgirls Team. This is a fantastic achievement and we wish her all the best in the upcoming tournament in Darwin.
