Year 12 Biological Sciences Students shine!
Congratulations to Hannah Cadlolo and Chelsea Smith who have both been offered summer internships at the Harry Perkins Institute for Medical Research. The Harry Perkins Institute was previously known as the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR). The girls should gain both valuable knowledge and insights into current medical research during their unique experience.

Congratulations also to Tom Anstey and Jack Lee who have been offered Industry placement scholarships through the Primary Industry Centre for Education at Curtin University
The Scholarship involves three components
- a five-day science camp with other students where they will learn about cutting edge science in the primary industries sector, and participate in hands-on science activities
- a five-day industry placement with a scientist where the students may work out in the field or in a commercial laboratory
- a Reporting Back Session where the students give a 3 minute presentation outlining their experiences.
At the completion of the Scholarship, Jack and Tom will be awarded $300 each.
