State Championships 15 and 16 September 2012 Champion Lakes

Some of the College's rowers competed very successfully in the State Championships Regatta which was held at Champion Lakes over a two day period - Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th September.

Eleanor Weber and Claire Knight won a medal in first place in the Women's E Grade Double Scull Event.

Eleanor Weber competed in the finals of the Women's Sub-junior Single Scull event.

Some of the John XXIII College boy rowers also competed under the banner of the Swan River Rowing Club where they have had additional training during the girls season. They are:

Lincoln McLean, William Williamson, Connor Corless, Patrick Boeré, Alex King (Cox)

All of the above boys excluding Alex King competed in the finals of the D Grade XIII Scull event.

The following boys' competed in the final of the Men's Sub-junior Double event:

Patrick Boeré/another SRRC rower

Patrick Boeré and a rower from SRRC won a medal in first place in the Men's Sub-Junior Double Event.

Connor Corless, Lincoln Mclean and Patrick Boeré competed in the finals of the Men's Sub-junior Single Scull.

The Mixed Sub-junior Quad Event was won by Patrick Boeré together with three other SRRC rowers with Alex King at the Cox, all receiving a medal.
