Rowing News

On the weekend the John XXIII rowing team was very competitive in their second schoolgirls regatta for the year. Crews competed in quads and single sculls, and raced excellently against the other schools. A big thank you to the year 8 girls who coxed wonderfully. The results for the day are as follows:

Year 9 single Sophie: 1^st place

Year 9 single Claire: 1^st place

Year 10 quad B: 6^th Place

Year 10 quad A: 6^th place

Year 10 single Katie: 1^st place

Year 10 single Arabelle : 1^st place

Year 9 quad: 4^th place

Year 11 single Leesha: 2^nd place

Senior quad: 6^th place

Thank you to the parents and friends who came down to support our girls, we encourage everyone to come down to Champion Lakes this weekend 22^nd June for JTC's first all schools regatta where all year groups including year 8's will be competing.
