Inigo Spirituality
To All Inigo Participants
And so the 22nd year of Inigo Centre begins: providing quality speakers to enrich our parents and the general public, in the areas of spirituality, relationships, and any other expressed needs such as better study habits in the home.
First term programme has an emphasis on academic needs: talks by Dr Margaret Yoon on 'Enhancing Brain Power' and private psychologist Hasser Graham on 'Success at School: Overcoming Study and Exam Blockages' are prominent talks on the programme. They are regular speakers for Inigo who are always well attended and popular.
And of course linked with the academic is the need for a supportive home context for the child. To this end, the talk/forum on 'Enriching Family Life' has proven over the years to be well attended. Blending talk input with parent input and forum has proven to be well approved by attendees.
An innovation in the first term will be the Lenten Programme talks given by Sr Margaret Schaff, OP which will run on Tuesday nights for four weeks.
And with our Ignatian background I will be giving the talk/reflection taste of the famous spiritual exercises of St Ignatius of Loyola each term of the Year. The topic for the first term is: 'Nurturing our Inner Life'. Each term will have a different topic and content.
The very full term programme will round off on the relationship topic 'Responding Better to Anger, my own and others towards me'. The talk is presented by well know speaker and clinical psychologist, Ean James. Ean has been a regular speaker with Inigo over the years and we are fortunate to have him again.
Inigo Centre aims to meet some of your needs in Spiritual and Psychological (Parental and Relationships) areas. The Centre welcomes adults from all Denominations and Religions and Parents from all Schools. Inigo Centre strives to reflect the inspiration of St Ignatius, Mary Ward and Pope John XXIII.
