New Netball Uniform

Following feedback from players and parents over recent seasons, the John XXIII College Netball Club are pleased to announce that we will have a new dress for the 2016 netball season.

The Perth Netball Association requires every John XXIII College player to be wearing the same uniform, so we are unable to transition gradually across to the new tunic style dress.

The Club is aware that this will potentially be frustrating for parents who have recently bought the current uniform or who have children with potentially one season left with the school. We are very conscious that the cost of the new uniform will be kept as affordable as possible. The exact cost is still to be determined but it is unlikely to be more than $80. Players can continue to wear the current bloomers.

In order to ensure that the correct sizes are ordered and ready for next year, all current and potential players are asked to visit the uniform shop for a fitting over the next week. We have some sample sizes for girls to try on, so they can see what the uniform will look like.

No appointments or payments are necessary at this stage. Volunteers from the netball committee will be on hand to make the process as painless and quick as possible. Parents do not need to attend, if that is easier for you. Girls are encouraged to wear a sports bra to try on dresses. Please do not come out of these hours.

Uniform shop times for netball fittings are:

Monday 23 Nov 8am - 9am and 12:30pm - 1:30pm

Wednesday 25 Nov 8am - 9am and 12:30pm - 1:30pm

Friday 27 Nov 8am - 9am and 3pm - 4pm

Please hold on to current uniforms, in case there is a problem with our chosen supplier. We are looking to put forward some creative options to recycle the current uniforms and any suggestions are welcome.

Any questions or concerns? Email and we will get back to you.
