Rowing News
The wrap up to the 2013 girls rowing season and the first co-education rowing season was fantastic with John XXIII rowing club competing in the Western Australian State Champs! All crews raced competitively over the full two days over the weekend. We had a dramatic end to Saturdays racing with the wild weather with the women's e grade quad. Chess, Nuala, Emersyn and Madi returned early Sunday mornings to come third in their heat and came 7th in their final! Ellie Wbber and Claire Knight the reigning champions came first in their heat to go on and come 8th in their final. A special mention to our only winner for the weekend Ross Mace who filled in and coxes for a Fremantle crew!
