ACC Representative Team Cricket

Nominations are called for the ACC Representative Cricket Team for a match against the Combined Government Schools at the WACA on the 2 April 2013. Net selection trials will be held in mid-November 2012(dates/venues TBC) and a selection match will be held on Friday 1st March 2013 (venue TBC).

At this stage the WACA has scheduled the match against the Combined Government Schools team to be played on the WACA ground. This is a great cricket opportunity and all schools are encouraged to nominate quality players for this highly regarded match. All players selected receive an ACC cricket cap from the ACC.

The ACC is now calling for nominations from interested and talented players. On-line nominations are due to the ACC by Friday 9th November. The cost of nomination is $10.00 per person, payable to the school sports coordinator.

The process for nominations is as follows:

* School provides attached flyer to interested/talented students

* Students complete their nomination form on-line on the ACC web site

* ACC will auto reply to each individual student when we receive their nomination on-line

* Students to give a copy of their completed nomination form and $10 nomination fee to their school sports coordinator (for school records only)

* School collects completed nomination forms and money ($10) from students

Positions for players are open to all cricket players that will be enrolled at the school in 2013; players MUST be of representative quality. There is no age restriction but being an "open" age team selected players are usually in Years 10, 11, 12 and must be capable of playing at U18 level.

Information about net selection trials in November 2012 will be provided to players and schools ASAP.
