John XXIII College Year 12 Sustainability Award

Open to All Year 12 Students who intend to pursue an aspect of Environmental Studies/Sustainability at Tertiary Level that will ultimately improve the world we live in. Examples of courses: Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering etc.

Value of Award: $500

To qualify for this award you must make a Submission explaining

  1. Your area of interest for further studies at Tertiary Level
  2. How will your studies improve sustainability in the world we live in.
  3. Why do you think you are the right candidate to be given this award.

Include in this section of your submission
* Your involvement in environmental/sustainability activities at the College or in your local area
* Your academic results in Semester 1

  1. A written reference from a teacher/mentor /home room teacher
  2. If given this award which Tertiary Institution will you be pursing your studies?

Make your submission no later than the 21 September to Dr Yoon

The winner will be announced in the first week of Term 4.

A Certificate will be given to the student in recognition of this award AND

Payment will be made once proof of admission to a tertiary institute is submitted.
