The Year 7 and 8 Boys Hockey Team defeated Scotch 6-4 in an exciting, free flowing game on Monday afternoon.

The JTC team started the game strongly and scored the first goal, however a few lapses in concentration let Scotch back into the game and the boys went into half time losing 3-2. To their credit the boys re-grouped and finished the game extremely well, scoring 4 goals in a dominant second half.

It was a fantastic achievement for the JTC boys to win this game. The Scotch side train and play regularly and only lost one game in the PSA competition.

Team members Michael Brick and Nick Woodford are to be congratulated on their recent selection in the State under 13 Hockey Team. Billy Riethmuller was selected as a train on for this side.
