Around the Primary

Dear Parents

The term continues to progress quickly and smoothly. Thank you for your continued support in assisting us to keep the children on task and producing their very best for the remainder of the term.

This week the Year 6 students participated in the Touch Rugby Lightning Carnival at Tranby College. Special thanks to Mr Alderman and Mr Casey for organising the teams and for supporting the students on the day. Congratulations to all of the competitors who put in a 100% at the carnival and for demonstrating good sportsmanship throughout the competition.

Every year as we begin our preparations for Christmas, our College makes a big effort to focus on the real meaning of Christmas. Advent, the season leading into Christmas, involves opening our hearts to the needs of others. As a whole school project, we are collecting food or gift items for hampers for the St Vincent de Paul. We are hoping each family can donate an item or two for these hampers.

SAVE THE DATE!

All families are invited to come along and sing Christmas carols on the Chapel lawn on Sunday 9th December. Bring along a picnic blanket, wear your favourite Christmas t-shirt or hat and get ready to sing some traditional carols with your children. Details will follow.

Kind Regards

Antoinette De Pinto
