Redfern Jarjum College

Sorry for answering your email so late but I have been in Alice Springs for 10 days at the Caritas Australia gathering at Ross River and then stayed on for a further 5 days visiting the local schools and the Aboriginal community of Santa Theresa. The experience was wonderful and I learned so much from it all!

I cannot thank you enough for the fund-raising activities you are doing for us at Redfern Jarjum College, at the moment until the end of June an organisation is matching every dollar with a further three, therefore, your $451.75 has turned into $1807.00 for the children of the college. Could you please pass on to all concerned a big thank you and God bless for your most valuable support and I don't mean money! But that helps!

It is so wonderful to know you are with us and supporting this great school of ours and you are one of our Foundation Partners.

We will be enrolling the students next term and then advertise for staff and open in October Term 4, I cannot wait and we will have the Official Opening in about March next year.

The building is coming on and I have attached a few photos, it is a small school in comparison to other Jesuit schools but we are proud that it is Jesuit school in the heart of Sydney for Urban Aboriginal children.
