World Environment Day June 5th 2014

What we did...

Over 40 students gave up their lunch time to help with tree planting on the eastern verge of the College. This area was first planted by students, including Lucy Durack, from Koolyangarra House in 1995 (see picture). Today we were honoured to have Peter Dwyer (2013 Sustainability Scholarship winner) come help us to upgrade the area with even more colourful plants and trees. The students with their enthusiasm and the assistance of the College gardeners Alan, Peter and Jesse completed the job before the end of lunch. They really did an awesome job and should be congratulated.
