Around the Primary

Dear Parents

It seems incredible that a whole term has flown by already! The students and staff have had a very busy and productive ten weeks but we have all made it to the end with smiles! As I walked around the Primary school this week, it seems that the students (and staff) are well and truly ready for a holiday. I am sure everyone will enjoy their time away from school routines.

On behalf of the staff, I would like to thank all parents for their contributions throughout this term. We have such a successful start to the year due to the most wonderful support of all our families.

Thank you to all our teachers for preparing for the parent meetings this week and to all the parents for taking the time to come along. These conversations are very important at the end of the first term to ensure parents are clear on how their children is achieving and the teachers can outline their plans to help each child reach or even exceed their potential.

I also take this opportunity to sincerely thank all our hard-working and dedicated staff for all the ways they have contributed to our school community. May the school holiday period afford them the time to rest, to rejuvenate and come back energised ready for the new term.

Yesterday twenty of our Year 6 students represented our school at the Interschool Basketball Carnival at Willetton Basketball Stadium. Mr Alderman was very impressed by their efforts and sportsmanship. Congratulations to all our teams.
