My name is Margi Watson and I am the Career Counsellor. My office is located off the library quad in the Xavier block. My primary role is to provide guidance and support to students as they make the transition from school to further study or work. All students are encouraged to visit me to discuss questions they may have regarding their study or work ambitions. I am part-time and at school three days a week. Prospective Student Campus Tours & Information Evenings

All WA Universities offer tours where prospective students can view the facilities and collect course information and brochures. Please see individual universities webpage.

Royal Federation of Aero Clubs of Australia Scholarship

Two scholarships valued at $ 7700 worth of flying are available to suitable applicants. To be considered for a scholarship, prospective applicants are required to undertake a trial flight with a listed RFACA member club. Following this trial flight they will automatically be considered for the scholarship. Alternatively, RFACA member clubs can nominate individuals who have completed their private license and wish to continue their training for a professional career.

ADF Education Awards

Closing date for the Year 12 awards is 28 February.

The Australian Defence Force Academy Education Award are presented annually to Year 12 students in recognition of leadership potential, and academic and sporting achievements exhibited during Year 11. The award comprises a laptop computer and certificate for the student, along with a plaque of recognition for their school. There are up to 100 awards available on behalf of the Navy, Army and Air Force which will be presented to suitable applicants who have applied for entry to ADFA. Curtin University Event

Uni Ready Enabling Program for past Year 12 students who failed to get an ATAR, or the ATAR required for university entry. The closing date is 15 February.
