The Year 5 and 6 students are enjoying the IPSHA winter sports competition. Yesterday our students travelled to Carmel School in Dianella and played soccer. John XXIII College hosted two netball games and one football game. Well done to all the students for playing with great determination and commitment.

Last night our kindy classroom was filled with parents participating in a very information and interactive workshop run by Occupational Therapist, Sue Beurteaux. This workshop provided an insight for parents regarding how the brain learns, important factors in fine motor development and practical skills to help children build strong fine motor foundations. I look forward to seeing you all again at the follow up workshop next Thursday 13th June.

Kind Regards

Antoinette De Pinto
Head of Primary

Congratulations to Caitlin Thornton (6G) who competed in the 12 and under division for Perth Netball Association at the "Smarter than Smoking Championships" at Wanneroo over the June long weekend. Caitlin's team had a tough competition but worked hard all weekend (7 games of netball) competing against associations as far away as the Eastern Goldfields to Esperance.
