Around the Primary
Dear Parents
We are now in the first week of Lent. On Wednesday the Year 3-6 students gathered together to celebrate Mass for Ash Wednesday and our Junior classes participated in prayerful classroom liturgies. Father Wilson reminded us all that Lent is a time of getting ready for the Feast of Easter by trying to follow Jesus' wonderful example and by displaying the virtue of 'competence' throughout our Lenten journey.
Special thanks to Ms Allen, Mrs Gardner and Year 3G for preparing our lovely Mass.
The students from Years 3-6 thoroughly enjoyed the Twilight Swimming Carnival yesterday and it was great to see so many parents and friends supporting this event!
Congratulations to Loyola, our Champion House for 2014. Well done to all the competitors - you certainly made us proud!
Our appreciation is extended to Mr Alderman for organizing this sensational swimming carnival and to all the hard working staff and parent helpers. We can now look forward to the Interschool Swimming Carnival on 18th March.
Well done to all the Houses!

Our Year Six students received their Leadership badges this week.
All of the Year 6 students are leaders in the Primary School and belong to a particular portfolio, such as, 'Events', 'Community', or 'Liturgy'. We also have 12 House Captains.
Congratulations to all the students and we look forward to seeing them hard at work in the various roles around the College.
Kind regards
