Congratulations
Congratulations Abbey Chapman and Grace Barbour. The Year 5 students artworks have been selected as top 100 finalists for the Therapy Focus 2014 Help a Child Art Competition. The competition received more than 6000 entries in this year's competition - twice that of last year!
Jake's First Sleepover is written by accomplished author and mother of two children with autism, Bec Oakley, and aims to introduce key messages about inclusion to young readers. Following the success of previous years' storybooks, Jake Learns the Tooth and Jake Rides the Rollercoaster, the 2014 storybook will be launched as the third title in the popular 'Jake' trilogy.
With support from partner organisation, Westfield, 100 finalist artworks will be selected from entries and will go on display at Westfield Carousel, Innaloo and Whitford City shopping centres from 5th-11th July as part of the school holidays. The community will then be invited to help select the 20 winning artworks to feature as the illustrations in the published storybook by voting in centre and online.
Online entries will go live on the Therapy Focus Facebook page at 9am on Saturday the 5th July and close 5pm Friday the 11th July.

Many thanks in advance for your support and happy voting!
