Year 7-12 Term 2 NAS Sport

Winter Sport starts next week, Monday 7th May and will run throughout Term 2. Students involved will have received a letter in homeroom detailing expectations and also the fixtures for the team. A copy of the letter, fixtures, venues and team lists for all sports can be accessed through the College website under Parent Information - NAS Sport. Thank you to students and parents involved in NAS and representing John XXIII. Our NAS competition relies on the support of students, parents and staff and the College is grateful for the support.

Year 7-12 Inter School Cross Country

Congratulations to all students who competed in the House Cross Country Carnival at the end of Term 1. The Inter School team is currently training hard on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. All students are still welcome to attend training, so if you are not in the squad you are more than welcome to still come along. A copy of the training program and current team squad can be accessed via the College website under Parent Information - Sport.

John XXIII College Hockey 2012

Hockey training at John XXII College is a non-compulsory activity for those interested in learning the fundamentals of the game of hockey or for those looking to develop their current skills and strategies.

Training is offered to all Year 7-12 students of any skill level.

There will be a number of one-day carnivals held later in the year. Students who show a commitment to training are more likely to be selected to represent the College at these events.

Students selected to play at the carnivals will receive more information and a permission slip closer to the event.

I understand that some of the training times may clash with NAS Sport. Should this affect your child I ask that they please commit to NAS Sport ahead of the hockey program.

Students must wear shin pads and a mouthguard if they wish to train.

For more information regarding the hockey program please contact Mr Cameron Tremayne on 9383 0416 or by email (preferred) at
