Clean Up Australia Day March 1st 2013

Today is Clean up Australia Day for schools. With over 2,000 Schools Clean Up Sites registered nationally, John XXIII College students will be counted among the thousands of volunteers who will take part in this annual event today and across the weekend.

Our Sustainability Captains and Year 10 leaders are leading the College in a huge campus clean up after lunch today. Thank you to Mr Owen and all the Year 10's for their enthusiasm and hard work today. We encourage all our students to keep the John XXIII College campus litter free and to take pride in their beautiful campus.

Lost & Found

All student belongings should be clearly labelled so that lost items can be returned to their rightful owners. If a student has lost something e.g. sports shirts, shoes, pencil case, towel, lunch box etc. can you please remind them to check in the lost and found area in student reception before purchasing a replacement. There is a large collection of lost items that need reclaiming before they go to a new home at the end of term!

If you can contribute some sustainable ideas or suggestions for the College please feel free to email me reilly.linda@johnxxiii.edu.au

Let's work together to make a noticeable improvement in the area of sustainability at John XXIII College.
