John XXIII College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Japanese Language Teacher for Years 4 - 11 to join the College in Term 3, 2015.

We are seeking a Full Time Temporary Japanese Language Teacher. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, an energetic and collaborative approach with a depth of knowledge of current educational theories and practices. Competence with technology and ICT and experience at using computer applications to enhance teaching and learning are strongly desirable. Excellent teaching and classroom management skills are essential, along with a desire to assist students to achieve their full potential. The applicants must actively support and promote the Ethos of the Catholic school and all teachers are required to have, or be prepared to obtain, necessary accreditation through the Catholic Education Office as well as registration with TRBWA. A current Working With Children card/application must be submitted at the time of application.

Selection Criteria

  • Current Registration with the Teachers Registration Board of WA (essential)
  • Current Working With Children clearance and Police Check (essential)
  • Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School (favourable)
