Assistant Deputy Principal (A Dean of a Year Group)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, committed and dynamic educators to lead and support the holistic development of students at a particular Year level. This is a key role in the leadership structure of the College and focuses on providing a high quality of academic and pastoral care and leadership for all students within the Secondary Leadership Team of the school. Each Year Group has an Assistant Deputy Principal ( Dean) who oversees the academic and pastoral care.

All applicants must be committed to the ideals and ethos of the Catholic Church and Ignation spirituality, have completed Accreditation to Lead the Religious Education in a Catholic School requirements, be registered with WACOT and have a current Working With Children Check, provide current 100 point Australian Federal Police Clearance (not more than 12 months old), have five years teaching experience (the ability to teach Religious Education will be an advantage) and a willingness to be flexible within the context of these newly created positions. All staff are expected to contribute to the life of the College through participation in co-curricular activities.
