John XXIII College Counsellors
The Counsellors use a holistic approach to support the social, emotional and behavioural needs of all students in the College. We work closely with students, staff and parents to support the young person's needs in order for them to achieve their academic best, given their personal circumstances.
The Counsellors support involves any or all of the following: case management, counselling sessions for students, support for parents, guidance and advice, consultation and collaboration with College staff, other professionals and education presentations.
The Counsellors in addition to answering any enquiry regarding your child, are happy to discuss and consult regarding community issues such as substance use, mental health and family concerns.
The Counsellors are made up of two complementary professional disciplines; Psychology and Social Work.
To arrange an appointment or make an enquiry, please contact the counsellors directly via phone or email or through Student Reception.
