Around the Primary

Dear Parents,

At John XXIII we embrace technology and the wonderful doors that it opens to quality learning opportunities. Currently the PrePrimary classes are participating in an 'iPad Project' run by the School of Occupational Therapy and Social Work at Curtin University.

The aim of this project is to examine whether these specific iPad applications, embedded into the PrePrimary curriculum each day impact on the children's fine motor development. The information gained through participating in this project will be of great value for our future planning.

At the same time, staff are continually sharing ideas for integrating new technology into the daily programs. It is an exciting time indeed for students and staff alike, as we plan, share and create together! Our hard working staff are to be applauded on their enthusiasm, willingness and openness to try new things, in order to provide the best opportunities we can for your children's learning.

Enjoy the long week-end!
