Around the Primary

Dear Parents

This week of our term has contained many memorable moments. Here is a capture of our prayer reflections for Holy Week in the Primary School.

On Monday the amphitheatre was transformed into a sacred place to celebrate Palm Sunday. Great thought and reverence went into the prayer time and the Pre Primary children carried out their roles with great dignity.

Easter is a very special time in the Church's calendar and on Tuesday the Year 4 students led us in a beautiful prayer reflection focussing on the Last Supper.

On Wednesday we gathered in the Chapel to recall the events of Good Friday. The students from Year 5G lead our school community through a meaningful, powerful and reverent prayer liturgy to help us remember Jesus' last hours on earth before he died.

It has been lovely to see so many parents and grandparents present at these prayer times for Holy Week and it has wonderful to see the whole primary school participate through drama, song and reflection in a truly prayerful way.

Best wishes for a happy and holy Easter.

Kind regards
