Rowing News

We have had our first week back for Boys Season 2014/15 this week! With lots of juniors and exciting prospects, it's already looking like a fantastic season to be had. Please remember that boys need to bring the rowing necessities to training, i.e., extra socks, change of clothes, water bottle etc. Please make sure that as rowing parents you are reading the Rowing Handbook that was emailed to you at the start of the season. if you are in need of another copy, please email Liz, our club secretary, at lizvdh@iinet.net.au.

A reminder that we are also doing a wine raffle! Thank you to all those families who have donated wine towards our wine raffle - it is not too late to donate if you have you not done so yet- wine can be left at the Main Reception at school. A book of tickets has been allocated to each rower but there are plenty of spares if you need more. We ask that all tickets and money are returned to Main Reception no later than Fri 31st October - the draw will be held at our JTC regatta on Saturday 8th Nov. As per the license tickets are not to be sold to anyone under the age of 18 years - and the prizes cannot be won by anyone under 18yrs.

Thank you all for supporting this fundraising event.

Our JTC Alumni Regatta is coming up very soon! Nominations close on the 31st of November, please email johnxxiiicollegerowing@gmail.com for all alumni entries! For all current boys rowers you need to let your coach know if you are or aren't available; and girls who wish to compete in the regatta need to contact Dean Steadman. We are selling merchandise plus selling food and drinks on the day, so would love to see parents and friends of the club, from all eras, down at Canning Bridge on the 8th of November to celebrate 21 years of JTC Rowing!
