Girls Head of the River Rowing Regatta
Saturday 18th August at Champion Lakes

Another picture perfect winter's day for a regatta. We participated in several events with all the girls giving their best performances.

Leesha Green surged forward with determination to gain fourth place in the Schoolgirl A Scull 1000m event. Eleanor Weber was in top form to take third place in the Year 10A 1000m Single Scull event. Kate Fletcher participated in the Year 10B 1000m Single Scull Event, showing remarkable drive, advancing to third place.

The Year 9 girls are again showing tremendous power and positive persistence in all of their events. Arabelle O'Rourke rowed magnificently to take third place in the Year 9A Single Scull 500m event. Ciara Nalty rowed with confidence to achieve second place in the Year 9B Single Scull 500m event.

We are extremely proud of all the rowers who have spent endless hours of training in very cold conditions. This season all of the girls have shown incredible courage, resilience and stamina.

The Head of the River Regatta marks the end of the School Girls Rowing Season; however, several of the girls are heading down to Bunbury this week end to participate in the Rowing WA Pennant Regatta.
