Seed2Tree Excursion

The Hotrock organisation are running an excursion in Term 3, on August 5th - 6th a team of 30 volunteers will leave John XXIII College to embark on a 2 day excursion to the Wheat belt to help plant up to 5,000 trees to help restore degraded natural environments in this area. It is a free excursion for Year 10 and 11 students including transport, accommodation, food etc...

Year 10 & 11 students are you keen to do your bit for the environment and make a difference? Maybe have aspirations of becoming sustainability captain in Year 12? Or would like to earn some community service hours by doing something really worthwhile?

World Environment Day

'WED' is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise global awareness of the need to take positive environmental action. It is run by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

The theme for this year's World Environment Day celebrations is Think. Eat. Save. Think. Eat. Save is an anti-food waste and food loss campaign that encourages you to reduce your foodprint. We at John XXIII College will be participating in World Environment Day on June 5th more information next week…

Bold Park Open Day

Is on this Sunday 26th May, 9:30am to 12:30pm, it is to be a wonderful family day out. Please see flyer attached.
