Around the Primary

Dear Parents

It certainly has been a very warm week. You'll be pleased to know however that your children are still running and laughing and playing happily despite the humidity. Staff are definitely ready for some cooler weather however! Our students are also to be congratulated on their enthusiasm for learning. We are confident they will continue to grow and flourish as they participate in varied activities throughout the year.

Our Parent Information sessions begin next week. These sessions are of the most important gatherings on the calendar, consequently one parent from each family is asked to attend please.

  • Tuesday 26 February - Years 1 and 2; 6 pm start
  • Tuesday 26 February - Year 3; 7 pm start
  • Wednesday 27 February - Year 4; 6pm start
  • Wednesday 27 February - Years 5 and 6; 7 pm start

Next Wednesday 27th February is Primary Photo Day. All children need to wear their correct school uniform for the photos. The children are welcome to bring along their sneakers if they have Physical Education with Mr Alderman on Wednesday.

Today we had the Blessing of the Official Opening of the new 'St Louis Sports Centre'. The children were so well behaved and participated well during the count down to the unveiling of the plaque with Dr Tim McDonald, Director of Catholic Education. Our primary children can now look forward to many opportunities for fun and fitness in the new gym.

Kind Regards
