Battery Recycling Blitz

John XXIII College are having a massive battery recycling blitz on the last week of term 1, April 15-19th. We encourage all students to bring in their used household batteries from home for recycling next week.

Collection points are:

  • Main Administration Building
  • Student Reception
  • From Homeroom

Our Sustainability captains are leading this initiative to encourage us to work together to ensure these poisonous materials are disposed of safely and correctly with no damaging effects to our environment.

Lost & Found

All student belongings should be clearly labelled so that lost items can be returned to their rightful owners. If a student has lost something e.g. sports shirts, shoes, pencil case, towel, lunch box etc. Can you please remind them to check in the lost and found area in student reception before purchasing a replacement. There is a large collection of lost items that need reclaiming before they go to a new home at the end of term!

If can contribute some sustainable ideas or suggestions for the College please feel free to email me reilly.linda@johnxxiii.edu.au

Let's work together to make a noticeable improvement in the area of sustainability at John XXIII College.
