Around the Primary

Dear Parents

It was great to see so many parents and grandparents at our Assembly today. Thank you to Mrs Distante and Year 3B for preparing today's informative and entertaining assembly item and congratulations to all the children who received a certificate.

Yesterday our Year 6 basketball teams participated in the IPSHA Basketball Carnival in Willetton.

The students enjoyed the competition and need to be congratulated for their wonderful participation and behaviour on the day. They did themselves, their parents, teachers and the College proud! I would like to thank Mr Alderman and also Mrs Burton who assisted at the carnival.

Parent-Teacher interviews were held after-school each night this week along with many pre-arranged early morning meetings and were a huge success. I thank the staff for their commitment and dedication. I extend a thank you, too, to parents who embraced the opportunity and shared in very open and honest communication about their children. Parents and teachers alike are encouraged to keep this dialogue ongoing, by conversations, notes in children's diaries and emails. Parents are welcome to make an appointment to see teachers at any time during the year.

The end of Term 1 for students is next Friday 19th April. We now look forward to seeing many Mothers at our Mass dedicated to all our magnificent Mums on Friday 10th May. It would be appreciated if all reply slips could be returned by the end of this term.

Kind regards
