The Academic Awards acknowledging Attainment (this award is given to the best student in each class for the subject) and application (given to the students who have demonstrated an outstanding work effort in a subject/class) will be presented at the Year 7 Academic Assembly to be held next Friday. Congratulations to all students for their success, improvement and recognising areas that need to continue to be a priority as they move into Year 8.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the parents for their support of the Year 7 Transition program. On the Year 7 Orientation Day a group of parents manned the barbecues to prepare lunch for the students being welcomed to our College Thank you: Heather Blakeway, Donna Fuller, Lara Shanhun, Nick Egan, Marion Connelly, Anne Maree Durrant and Jocelyn Ko.
At the conclusion of the Year 7, 2014 Parent Information evening another group of parents maintained the fine tradition of serving the supper to the new families. Thank you for your help in welcoming the new families: Milissa Jagers, Catherine Walsh, Simone Vitali, Julia Williams, Jennifer Hooker, Soraya Ramsey, Marion Connelly and Anne Maree Durrant.
It has been a memorable year. Thank you. May you get the blessings of faith, happiness and peace this Christmas.
