Screen Time Presentation

As families would be aware a presentation was held on the 3rd July by Parent Coach, Debbie Bushell. This talk was a follow up from the earlier technology talks offered by the College earlier in the year. Debbie's presentation was to address some parenting guidelines associated with managing screen time within the home environment. The presentation attempted to address some of the difficulties faced by parents who find themselves parenting within a world of changing technology.

There was a positive number of approximately 100 attendees at this event. For those parents who were unable to attend, a PDF version of the presentation has been placed on the College website. It is located under Parent Information: 2013 iPad Program. If you require any additional support of how to manage screen time within the home, you may contact Debbie directly.

If additional information becomes available to the Parent Association, such as how to block sites, we will endeavour to have these links placed on the website to assist families.

There has been a vast amount of information placed on the College website however, if families require any additional guidance regarding issues associated with the iPad use at the College, the following staff may be able to assist you.
