Travelsmart to School Day success!bikes-adj.jpg

On Wednesday 9 December, Year 7 students were encouraged to cycle, walk or catch public transport to school. Earlier in the term, the Year 7 students were surveyed and 100 of the 150 students surveyed arrived at the College by car. On Wednesday only 10 students arrived by car, an amazing outcome.

We were privileged to have the Mayor of the City of Nedlands attend the presentations at the end of the day and award Zoe Broderick and Emily Nguyen as the winners of the Travelsmart banner competition.

We hope that during 2016, students can use what they have learnt this term and continue to find alternatives to being driven to school. Congratulations to all Year 7 students who joined in on the day.
