Students who would like to work back stage can be trained on lighting and sound and then work on the various productions during the course of the year. Ex students are often employed to train students.

The annual musical production is a major event in the calendar that involves over 140 students on stage, in the back stage crew, make up, hair, the band, lighting, sound. Recent productions include Kiss Me Kate and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Ex-students trained in the industry often return to work on a production in set design, costume design and make up.

Students can also participate in the annual Inter House Theatre Sports Competition which involves a night of spontaneous improvised Theatre games. The College is also represented in the Interschool Theatre Sports Competition which we won in 1999 and 2001.

House Drama involves over 100 students on stage from years 8 to 12. Year 12 students direct and design one act plays which are performed in competition at night. The plays are judged and awards are given for best play, director, actor and actress.
