College Musicals

The annual musical production is a major event in the calendar that involves over 140 students on stage, in the back stage crew, make up, hair, the band, lighting, sound.

 

House Drama

House Drama involves over 100 students on stage from years 8 to 12. Year 12 students direct and design one act plays which are performed in competition at night. The plays are judged and awards are given for best play, director, actor and actress.

 

Theatre Sports

Students can participate in the annual Inter House Theatre Sports Competition which involves a night of spontaneous improvised Theatre games. The College is also represented in the Interschool Theatre Sports Competition which we won in 1999 and 2001.

 

Drama Nights

Year 9 Musical Theatre students perform a musical. Year 10 students put on two drama nights during the year. The first is a Collage Drama Night involving work that is devised by the students as well as monologues and script extracts all based around a common theme. The second night is a collection of plays. Year 11 and 12 students perform in scripted productions.
