John XXIII College welcomes all enrolment applications. If you would like your child to attend John XXIII College, it is important to apply early. Demand for places is strong and there are waiting lists for all years, Kindergarten to Year 12. There are only two official entry years into John XXIII College: Kindergarten and Year 7.
- Kindergarten: Your child must have turned four prior to the 30th June in the year of entry to be eligible for Kindergarten.
- Year 7: A student must have completed Primary schooling.
For any other year, enrolment applications are placed on the College waiting lists. Applicants will be contacted if a vacancy occurs. An interview with the Principal (or Head of Primary or another member of the College Leadership Team) is part of the enrolment process. John XXIII College confirms enrolment offers for Kindergarten and Year 7 eighteen months in advance. An interview is not a guarantee of a place and not all applicants on the waiting list will be interviewed. An Enrolment Application fee of $100 is required for each application. A separate application must be made for each child.
On receipt of the enrolment application, the College will confirm receipt in writing. There will be no further correspondence from the College unless additional information is required or if there is a vacancy.
Note:
(a) The College has no way of knowing when a vacancy for any year will become available.
(b) An interview is not a guarantee a place will be offered.
(c) For priority into John XXIII College, please refer to the Criteria section.
